	Supplement to The ARS QRP Lab's Review of the MFJ-Cub

Thanks to some excellent collaboration among Larry East, W1HUE, Rick Littlefield, K1BQT, and The ARS QRP Lab, we have learned of some corrections that need to be made our our review of the 15 meter MFJ Cub, published in the May, 2000 issue of The ARS Sojourner. Our sample of the Cub had been modified by Larry (as fully explained in our review). Both we and Larry believed that the modifications would not affect our testing. However, Murphy's Law struck. It turned out that an easily overlooked error had crept into one of the mods, which, in turn, reduced the sensitivity of the sample. So, we borrowed another 15 meter Cub (this time, a "stock" model) and ran a number of our tests again. A number of the tests had essentially the same results. However, the following tests yielded significantly different results: - MDS subtantially improved, from -126 dBm to -133 dBm - IF rejection improved from 74 dB to 78 dB - Third order intercept point showed an adverse change, going from -7.5 dBm to -11.5 dBm - Second order intercept point also showed an adverse change, going from 62 dBm to 57 dBm We have revised all the relevant text and graphics in our May review.
