Accessible DX for QRPers from Isla Socorro

By Dr. Stephen Andrew Wilson, XE1UFO
Special to The ARS Sojourner

I am sure a lot of QRPers would be interested in this upcoming amateur radio DXpedition to Isla Socorro, off the west coast of Mexico, scheduled between March 3 through March 20, 2004

Mexico’s Socorro Island counts for Revillagigedo, a scarce DXCC entity. This one should be real easy to work on low power!

Here is some key information about XF1IH, which will be operating on this small island 300 miles south of the Baja California, Mexico peninsula and 370 miles west of Mexico.
